John Kilpatrick - Chairperson

John joined the Board on 30th August 2018 and was delighted to be appointed as Chairperson on 5th September 2019.

John has over 20 years finance experience within local government.

In the past ten years has specialised as a Finance Adviser within the social housing sector.

This includes providing financial support and guidance for homelessness, anti-social behaviour and factoring.

John’s role includes areas such as business planning, budget setting, new builds, value for money, capital monitoring and rent setting.

John currently sits on the following Committee’s:
• Audit & Assurance
• Operational Services
• Staffing

John has the following qualifications:
• Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA)
