Rent Payment
In this section you will be able to find what different options are available for paying your rent and where you can pay it.

The Importance of Rent
The payment of rent is essential for both yourself and for Craigdale Housing Association. Rent is used to pay for services such as repairs. If you do not pay rent you are breaking one of the main conditions of your tenancy agreement. Non-payment of rent will result in action being taken against you.

Paying Your Rent

Your rent is due monthly in advance by the last day of every month. If you prefer to pay weekly, fortnightly or 4 weekly, you can do so, but please contact your Housing Services Officer to confirm this arrangement.

Online Payment from your Bank Account
You can make payment by making an on line transfer of your rent money from your bank account to our bank account.
Our bank details are:

ACCOUNT NUMBER: 00181447
SORTCODE: 80-09-51

The transfer should include a note of your unique tenancy reference number so that we can identify that it was you who paid. If you are not sure about how to do this, please contact the Office on 0141 634 6473, leave a message and one of our Housing Services Officers will call you back.

By Direct Debit
Many tenants will find this is the easiest and most convenient method of payment. It automatically takes the payment from your bank or building society account. Setting up your direct debit is quick and simple and the Direct Debit Guarantee protects against any incorrect payments and ensures that any incorrect payments are refunded if a mistake is made. Please contact the office on 0141-634-6473 and we can set this up over the telephone, it’s quick and easy.
